Shutter bug story - March 2008
Often I take my camera in the morning, walk out in the field and take photo's of the dogs as they play during their first little while out in the paddock. This photo was taken on a crisp cool morning this past March...Teddy was playing as he "loves to do" rolling in the grass, throwing the kong in the air and circling it, making believe the kong was alive and he could tease it. When Teddy heard the shutter lens his whole body turned in my direction and he stood to attention. And for the first time I saw through the lens of my camera that my puppy dog was growing up.
How Teddy got his name
When I was a teenager I worked in a store that sold "Gund" Teddy Bears.
Gund makes the most beautiful, soft huggable quality Teddy Bears.
Every year we would look forward to see what wonderful Bear Gund made for their "Limited Edition" one time only Bear.
Teddy was named after the Gund Limited Edition Teddy Bear. Gund's slogan is "Gotta Get A Gund" and when I got Teddy I got mine....
